Heard of speed networking?  That’s great when you want to meet 20 or 50 people, but you only get a few minutes with each one.

We have a better approach! SLOW networking – go slow to go fast.  Spend 20-30 minutes with someone and you’ll really get an appreciation for how they can help you in your job search, and how you can help them.  You will practice networking techniques in a safe environment, make new, high-quality professional connections, and develop confidence to network for job opportunities.

The facilitator is Martha Rockwell, A+ Resumes & Career Coaching and Human Resources Consultant (http://www.linkedin.com/in/martharockwell) who will guide you through a step-by-step process and you’ll leave with at least three new, high-quality, strong network connections!

Agenda

  8:30 a.m. -  9:30 a.m.   Continental Breakfast

  9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.  Program

Fees: There are no membership dues or meeting fees to participate in this meeting or the whole curriculum series. Customary meeting donation of $5 is suggested and tax deductible.

While walk-ins are welcome, registering in advance helps us plan for hospitality volunteers, resume reviewers, printed materials, and coffee and bagels too—thank you!
